Raynes Park Vale FC is a semi-professional football club located at Prince George’s Playing Fields in Raynes Park, southwest London. The club is currently only a semi-pro men’s team playing in the 4th tier of the non-league system, but we are looking to expand our operations to include youth and women’s teams. The club is well established, has a stadium with capacity of over 2000, and draws an ever-increasing fan base to home games, with attendances ranging from 200-500. The team plays in the Isthmian South West Division and enters the FA Cup, Isuzu Trophy and other competitions annually. The club is looking for a retired person to take on the role of General Manager at the club.
The General Manager is supported by a Club Secretary (handling all player registrations, league and FA paperwork, etc), a Head of Operations (handling matchday food and beverage provision and the staff who work on matchdays) as well as various other volunteers handling many small jobs around the club. We are looking for the General Manager to provide “presence” at all home matchdays and to coordinate all of the myriad of small jobs that running a football club entails.
This is an opportunity for a retired individual who loves football and socialising to get deeply involved with a fun and exciting project. Whilst at many clubs this is a volunteer role, we are willing to compensate someone for their time spent helping Raynes Park Vale FC to move forward.
